Acute Care Surgeon
The University of Utah is seeking an academic Acute Care Surgeon board certified in general surgery and surgical critical care at the level of late Assistant or Associate professor to assume the associate trauma medical director role with the expectation that they assume the TMD role in the future. The successful applicant will have strong clinical skills, a desire to educate all levels of trainees and providers, have strong communication and interpersonal skills as well as a desire to participate in scholarly activities at an academic center. Experience in PI and QI initiatives is also required. The position will be predominantly clinical but some protected time will be afforded to academic pursuits.
