The Division of GI Surgery at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a motivated colon and rectal surgeon to join a productive division. We are seeking a full-time non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educator at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving team of clinicians, educators, and researchers. Northwestern Medicine is one of the premier academic medical systems in the nation. Furthermore, the GI Surgery service line is highly ranked nationally, and the Department of Surgery is positioned among leading surgery departments for receipt of NIH funding.

Clinical practice will be focused on the breadth of colorectal procedures, as well as inpatient and outpatient care of colorectal surgery patients. The candidate may also be expected to develop and maintain an extramurally funded basic, translational, clinical trial, or health services outcomes research program. The candidate will contribute to medical education of General Surgery residents.

Qualified candidates must (1) be board certified or eligible by the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery and (2) be able to obtain permanent Illinois licensure.
